They think I am crazy but I know better.
It is not I who am crazy
It is I who am mad
Didn't ya see the crowds
You can't take if from me now
I've had this ice cream bar
since I was a child
People always trying to take it
from me
Why won't they leave me alone?

Am I the only one watching Treme? They just had their annual Mardis Gras episode and it was off the fucking chain as usual. Best goddamn show ever.

I think you are. I've meant to but haven't yet.

I just finished the Sopranos last night. Best television series of all time. Forget The Wire. Comparing The Wire to The Sopranos is like comparing The Jungle to Ulysses.

I've been meaning to finish that last half of season 7 for more than half a decade now.

Yup. Every great TV show has an episode like that. Sopranos had "Pine Barrens," Breaking Bad had "The Fly," and Mad Men (has probably had several, but most recently and memorably for me) had "Mystery Date."

Also...you haven't finished the last season of the Sopranos. For five years. Dude, you met someone and got married in that span. You've probably had a thousand other life-altering events occur in that space. But you haven't finished the Sopranos. You must fix this.
RIP - Owen.

How jarring was that seeing the poor Irishman's dead body in that crate? Gonna miss that character.

Also, Gyp Rossetti continues to impress with inventive ways for killing people.... burying some rogue-wave talking bastard in the sand, then playing beach golf with his head. Brutal.
Nah, fuck it. I'm enjoying the hell out of Dexter right now. So many intertwined sub-plots on the verge of total eruption. Great drama.

I can't wait for next season. It's definitely leading up towards a manhunt for Dexter.
I'm really upset that I caught up with Homeland just as it jumped the shark. Bummer. I was worried they couldn't keep this going for more than one season, there's only so much you can do. Looks like that's turning out to be the case. It's 24 all over again.

I'm not saying it jumped the shark yet, but Fonzie is definitely putting on the water skis...

Last night's episode was pretty rough, indeed.

Now that was more like it.

I like this show most when I have absolutely no idea whether I should trust the protagonists or not.

Sunday's most recent episode was a perfect example of that. Brody's playing a game of show and tell - but can we actually trust everything that he's telling us? Yes? No? Who the fuck knows?

Deb is all like, "I can accept that you have murdered dozens of people, and I can accept that you continue to actively interfere with police investigations, but I will NEVER accept you working with a gangster to help save that girl you are boning.
