This season has kind of sucked, but it's getting close to that territory where it's so camp that it's aware of it's own campiness, and just gets completely ridiculous and awesome. We call this the Army of Darkness zone. I loved the finale.

I enjoyed this season exactly because of that reason.

I was laughing when Sam killed that Vampire just because it was so over the top ridiculous.

Is it just me or was the season finale of The Newsroom kinda boring and cheesy? Where's the classic Aaron Sorkin season finale cliffhanger?

I feel like he accidentally almost tied up all the relationship loose ends in one fell swoop, and then was like, shit, there will be no reason to continue watching this if I don't mess this up again, so he messed it up again. I kind of liked it, I'm a total sucker for that show no matter how much Stormy and HG hate Aaron Sorkin.

Earlier in this thread Stormy I believe posted a pretty scathing column about him. He seems like a douche. There was another article posted about how monochromatic and self-serving his writing is. There's a lot of Aaron Sorkin beef on the internet, and I get it, but I still love The Newsroom.
