They definitely weren't the drugs that make you look cool.

Okay so I just watched the third episode of Girls and it was way better than the first two. The show is good when it's not taking itself too seriously. Much funnier.

I take it back. Last night's episode grabbed me by my vintage hairbow and pulled me back on the band wagon. I love New Girl.

I'm watching Uprising: Hip Hop/L.A. Riots. It's a VH1 documentary special narrated by Snoop Dogg. Very impressive for VH1. Understandably emotional, easy to understand and sensitively presented. I hope the young and key demographic of VH1 learns something.
Another amazing episode. Everything with Arya was so intense. The whole scene with Littlefinger was AMAZING. I was seriously gripping my chair. And I've even read the damn books! Holy hell that was well done. Also the scene with the guard finding the note was amazing.

Theon is such a piece of shit.
I know this is as about as lame and as simplistic a statement as it gets, but "Kids shows ain't what they used to be".

Has anyone started watching that new show Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23? I just watched the first four episodes and I'm officially hooked. Pretty damn hilarious show with a lot of the sick and twisted humor that made me fall in love with Always Sunny. It stars Krysten Ritter (Jesse's girlfriend Jane in Breaking bad), who's pretty much my dream girl these days, as well as James Van Der Beek, who plays an exaggerated version of himself and is fucking awesome in the show. I'm pretty convinced that Ritter's character is a fictional version of what Sara(h)nater is like in real life, so if nothing else, watch for that reason. You also get to see Van Der Beek make a total ass out of himself in every episode:

I know its titled "Girls" and I know there are only like, 4.45 girls who regular the board, but that new HBO show is pretty awesome.

Spot on, even.

I spent the evening catching up on the season with Stamper last night and I think I'm in love with the show.

Girls is awesome! Have you ever seen Tiny Furniture before? It's also starring, written and directed by Lena Dunham. It's a lot like Girls and has quite a few members of the same cast (it also stars her family). If you like Girls, you like it! Lena Dunham is pretty damn impressive for only being 24 years old.

Agreed, I'm a big fan of Girls so far. I definitely didn't realize that the lead girl was the main writer. She is fantastic.

I wasn't too sure of Girls after the first two episodes, but I felt the 3rd episode was really top-notch. The writing was very crisp. This most recent episode was a bit of a step back, in my opinion, but still pretty solid. Obviously, due to the fact she's the primary writer this entire season, there are going to be roller coaster moments for the show, but for a 25 year old writer, she's doing a great job. Hell, for a 35 year old writer she's doing a great job.
