I love that assholes like this get called out because of the fact that everyone has a pretty nice video camera in their pocket at all times. We live in the panopticon, which can be horrible, but it means you're accountable for everything you do in public all the time.

people will almost always choose to protect themselves/their belongings over putting themselves in danger. It's a nice thought and all, but I just don't see it working in practice. Now get a crowd of 10-15 people all recording and walk up to the meathead...then you're on to something.
