I'm scheduling an appointment for a new tattoo. I can't afford it, but I've been obsessing over it for weeks now and can't wait any longer.

Wouldn't that be a little redundant?

True story: the first time I ever saw "PLUR" was last year on the Coachella boards in the only thread I ever read there, rumours & confirmations, and for the longest time I thought it meant people wanted Pulp and Blur to co-headline.

Hope it went well.

I have 5-6 interviews at the end of the month. I'm nervous already.

What are your interviews for?

Yeah the interview went pretty well. I felt rambly at a few points, but its hard not to when its a phone interview I think. Getting set up to chat with the prof's other grad students later in the week.. i think thats a good sign!

I graduate with my Respiratory Therapy Diploma /Bachelor of Health Science at the end of April. Most of the hospitals try to have the students locked down by the first few days of March.

So I will be ultimately fi.guring out where I will start my career in the next 2-3 weeks...and it is making my stomach churn. I haven't had a serious job interview since I was 18. I have never had a phone interview, and most of them will be via phone. I just don't know what to expect.

Well you can probably expect a few standard questions regarding your strengths, weaknesses, academic history, where you see yourself in x many years, why you'd like to work there, etc.

I read out loud some materials before my phone interviews... stuff like my statement of intent, abstract from my undergrad thesis... shit like that. So I have smart words primed and dont end up saying "shit like that" in my interview. Make sure I have a quiet space that no one is going to be around in. And then I listen to music for a bit before I know I'm going to get the call and just relax.

Heck, I'm off work for at least two more days... I can give you a call and we can do a mock interview! Fun!

Yeah I don't know if fun is the word I would use.

I really need to find a good place to do it. I also need like large signs of the words I don't normally use but want them to think are part of my regular vocab posted all around me.

One of the interviews is on the phone with like 6 people, I am akward on the phone talking to me mom, let alone 6 strangers. Eek!

I accidentally edited your post to say that instead of quoting it.

Hahaha I'm sure just being you will be just fine. The awkwardness goes away pretty quick once you get focused on what they're talking about or what you're answering.

I do, however, have a list of questions ready that I can refer to that will make me look smart (but info that I also actually do need).
