 VIP packages for 2011
« Thread Started on Jan 16, 2011, 11:49am »

Since I did a package before they sent this email.

As someone who has requested Sasquatch info in the past, I wanted to make sure you received info on our VIP Supertickets for the 10th Anniversary Sasquatch! Festival which takes place from Friday, May 27th – Monday, May 30th, 2011. We’ve made several changes to the program this year that should make it the best program yet.

First off, the Sasquatch Festival now features 4 days of amazing music instead of 3. That means that you can arrive on Thursday, May 26th, see all of your favorite bands Friday through Monday, and you can stay all the way until Tuesday, May 31st.

We’ve also designated our very best camping area, Terrace Camping, exclusive to VIP Superticket buyers. It cannot be purchased in any other way than with the VIP Supertickets. There will also be complimentary continental breakfast and complimentary late-night snacks after the shows. It will definitely be the place to be for Sasquatch 2011.

Last, we do have an extremely limited amount (only 2 packages for now but may expand to a few more) of VIP Superticket packages featuring a fully-furnished safari tent with wood platform floor. All you have to do is bring yourself and you’ll get the absolute best accommodations we can provide.

Without further ado, here are the details for the 2011 Sasquatch VIP Superticket packages:

Sasquatch VIP Supertickets -- $2,500 per pair (only sold in pairs)

•** New for 2011 ** Terrace Camping pass that provides entry for 1 vehicle (RV’s are welcome). Terrace camping can only be purchased as part of the VIP Superticket program and is exclusive to VIP Superticket-holders. Terrace Camping amenities include:

•Complimentary continental breakfast and complimentary late-night snacks after the show at the campground •Air-conditioned bathrooms with hot showers •Dedicated concierge service to help with your needs and answer any questions •Access to VIP Viewing areas next to all three stages including a platform on the main stage with special lounge area (main stage platform may be closed off for some bands pending their approval)
•Private shuttle from Terrace campground direct to venue
•In and out access from Main venue to and from Terrace Campground for all 3 days of the festival
•Access to the Cliff House VIP area (near the main stage with air conditioned private restrooms, a private cash bar, special menu and the best view in the venue of the Columbia River Gorge)
•Drink specials available in main stage lounge area

Thanks for sharing, man. There is some incredible "douche marketing speak" in there.

V.I.P. ticketholders at Sasquatch are the joke of the festival. 'Look, we paid five times as much as you so we can eat stale muffins in the morning and sit on this elevated platform in the hot sun where everyone can point and laugh at us.'

Wow. No thanks, douchers. I like how every year they make a new and improved (and more expensive) camping option that just sounds less and less like an outdoor music festival. Pretty soon they're going to build an air conditioned tunnel that links the entire festival so that the Sasquatch elite never have to step foot outside once during the course of the weekend. Oh, but at least they get drink specials! Totally worth the 5 grand.

Last year we did GA and a rv campsite at Wildhorse. Have to say that's the way to go. Wildhorse staff are the best. The bus driver is quick in and out. You also have their cafe open late night for the famous Wild Burger. There was a line for showers, but not that long. Taking a year off, but if we are back next year, it will be done this way. Sasquatch needs to go to Bonnaroo and see how they do VIP. You get everything they are offering and more. All for a grand less per package. Have a great time this year, we will see you next year.

Yeah, knew it was wrong when I wrote it, but was too lazy to change it.

That is a lot of money. I had a pair of VIP passes last year. The VIP viewing area for the mainstage was great. The in and out privs was also nice. As an Rver I have far better food than I can buy there. It was nice to go back for dinner at the trailer.

Sorry, i won't pay 1250 pperson for that.

I know I've been guilty of talking about that other festival in the past, so maybe I'm not exactly the right person to get into this, but I'm so fucking over people coming to this board and talking shit about how much better bonnaroo does it than sasquatch. You sound like a douche.

'blah blah blah, better beer, blah blah blah music is played till 5 in the morning, blah blah blah their campsites are cooler and you get way neater stuff for their VIP packages.'

there's an entire website dedicated to bonnaroo, if you wanna go over there and suck on bonnaroo's dick, go for it. --
here's the link assholes:

(And Lou, this rant really isn't directed at you, just people who come to this site and say similar things as you - and we get them A LOT. Besides I know you know about inforoo, because you posted the same things over there in the 'Sasquatch 2011 thread' as you have here.)

Let's just put it this way, it's not up to "Sasquatch" to run things.

Sasquatch is run by Livenation, who is awful
Bonnaroo is run by AC Entertainment, whose main focus is Bonnaroo other than that they really only do some of the bigger shows in Tennessee.

AC is awesome, Livenation is awful. Blame Livenation, not Sasquatch.
