I knew someone in high school who thought her passenger door was broken. 4 months later, homie goes to look at it, and... lo and behold, locked the whole time!

Yes it was a she.

Yes she was blonde.

This probably sounds asinine but I would suggest Festival goers learn how to jump a car battery before going to the Gorge. More importantly, learn how to pop your hood.

Not asinine at all; this is a great tip. It's actually a great tip for anyone who is planning a road trip, or really anyone who knows how to drive period. This goes along with knowing how to pump gas, check/refill your fluids, and read a map.

And change a tire. Which I know how to do. And all of those things above. And I am a girl, so take that.

I am brunette, though.

At least her car doors locked. When I was in high school my doors rarely locked. When it got too cold, they rarely shut. You haven't lived until you make a hard left across traffic onto a busy street and have your passenger door swing wide open. I got very accustomed to driving with a bungee cord across my lap connecting the two doors together. In the ghettooooooooooo.

This group only had one chick and numerous bros. I guess there isn't a very large automotive section in the bro handbook.

Turn key, stomp pedal. If step one fails, keep drinking!

Yes, good call Stormy. Definitely this too. I knew I was forgetting some important ones. In fact, the only thing that has gone wrong with my car during a trip to Sasquatch was a flat tire! Must have run over something on the freeway on my way home one year because that thing went flat in a hurry. Luckily I did know how to change a tire because the people I was with definitely did not.

Someone emailed info@sasquatchfestival.com regarding camping the night before they had a ticket. The answer was yes. No one has asked if they can camp on Thursday night with a ticket for Monday. I would suggest emailing them.

You get to camp Sunday and Monday. Beyond that, no one really knows. You'll probably be okay camping all days, it just depends on how close they look at your ticket. Technically, you shouldn't be allowed to camp Thursday thru Saturday.

Is there a place in the campsite to buy food for relatively cheap?

Nice username.

I would not call it cheap. There is a group of vendors that are in the camping area, though. Standard fare, noodles, burgers, chicken strips, etc.

What about like a general store for basic groceries and supplies?

Yeah they have a general store, very over priced though. I recommend having basically everything you need prior. But if you forget something it will do the trick.

Yeah, and keep it simple. There was a salmonella outbreak last year, apparently.

I have to make plane reservations. Does anybody have an idea when the music starts on Friday and ends on Monday? Anything even close would be helpful. Thanks.
