did you read my mind or something? couldn't agree more with you. lsd is an absolutely life changing drug. i didn't notice right at first but pretty much every perception i had of the universe and people and everything slowly transformed after my "experimentation" days.

Not to sound like anyone's mom, but heed those words.

I'm not saying do it or don't but you definitely will have a tough time trying to carry on with the same exact life pre-trip. Just sayin' if you are in a position that things will be status quo for the next little while (Job/family/school reasons), do your research. Perhaps the above will inspire motivation opposed to caution - "Welcome to the free world man!"

the time i was sitting by a desolate lake and watching the sun come up while the moon was still in the sky was probably the most amazing experience i've ever had haha. i swear to god the sky ripped in half and i was staring straight into heaven...and i'm not even a religious person.

Can we go into further detailed discussion as to how LSD completely changes your life after the first trip? As one who has not gone any further than weed, I do not know of this.

Alright, this will sound like a complete stoner-hippy cliche, but it really does change your life. At least it did for me and a lot of people I know. It's hard to put into words, but I'll try my best:

It changes your perceptions of reality and yourself. It's a bit like realizing up until then that you've been viewing everything in black and white and now it's in eye-popping colour. It made me confront myself and my insecurities. A lot of my negative thinking like conceit, selfishness, jealousy, and self-pity just washed away---because really, what is the point of those anyway? All of it just detracts and prevents you from being the person you truly are. I had gained a greater sense of appreciation and awe for the everything around me in this world, this universe.

I tried writing a story about it, but it was just a bunch of self-wankery---a little like the above. Maybe I'll go back to it someday when the perspective has had a few more years to settle in.

It's really just something you have to experience yourself.

EDIT: Also, next year, if anybody has access to a lot of LSD, could you please bring some next year? I would, but I have to cross a border to get to Squatch, so it's not worth the risk to me. You would make a lot of people happy. I couldn't find a single person that had any this year---everyone was looking! One guy said he had met someone with a few tabs on Thursday night, but by the end of the weekend it had reached a sort of mythical status.
