i highly doubt they will have enough bands to make this a 4 day fest. i bet that 4th day is just counted as an early arrival day like friday has been the past couple of years

I wouldn't be surprised if they added a Friday show. Albeit briefly, we've discussed this possibility the past couple years, and I speculated on the Sasquatch Blog that Adam Snacks' big surprise for the tenth anniversary could be a fourth day.
They did a Friday night show in 2006, and yes, it was because that was the only day NIN/Bauhaus/TV on the Radio could play, but it still makes sense. Us regulars plan on arriving mid afternoon on Friday anyway, so why not catch a couple bands that night? It makes even more sense if they book someone gigantic like Radiohead, and make it a partial day for the same price.

I think topspin's point is that while they did have a Friday "mini-lineup" once, they've never extended Sasquatch to 4-day event.
But I agree, they proved in 2006 that they can do Friday well, and they proved last year that they can sell out Saturday-Monday no problem. I could see it happening.

My mind is blowing up. I really like the extra day in the campground where i can get schmitlecoffind and not have to worry about making it to shows.

Adding a 4th probably the only way they can make more money without increasing ticket prices. Charge for another whole day, but only have Friday evening shows. If that's what it meant to be able to book a huge headliner, or more expensive bands on average, I think people wouldn't complain at all. And it would mean another day of partying in the campgrounds! (well, maybe I8 would complain about that)

I would be ok with that. But hopefully they don't raise camping prices for the whole weekend to something obscure!

oh my god I knew it! I hope thats true. It pretty obvious there was room for expansion after last years easy sell out. hmmm think theyll do 4 day passes for 200? I think that would be extremely reasonable.
