Is it worth it? How is the seating area? Is the food any good? Would like to hear any experiences of those that have gone VIP in the past.

The food was okay (dinner was definitely better than lunch). But I'm a vegetarian so I'm normally screwed anyway since meals favour meateaters. Salad only goes so far.

The VIP seating area is fine and dandy. Its dead center and if you move a few chairs, you suddenly have your own dancing area. But I like being up close, so I ditched the area during most of the main stage sets. The view for the VIP area for Arcade Fire and Interpol was perfection however.

The free bag I got and the swanky VIP badge were oddly enough the best bits.

The website originally listed the VIP "Supertickets" at $750 a pair, and only sold in pairs. Now it says $750 per person, only sold in pairs. Forget that!

I thought something had changed on there. I read it as $750 a pair early yesterday and then rechecked and it was different. Glad to know I am not losing my mind. That is a bit steep!!!

Seriously! $1500 for a pair? That's quite a bit more than Bonnaroo VIP which in my opinion offers more and is a four day fest vs. three.

To those that have gone VIP to Sasquatch in the past, was it this expensive?

I belive last year was the first year they offered it. It was $1000 for a pair last year and that was only 2 days.

I am pretty pissed about the change in price this year. I canclled my hotel reservation to do the premier camping when i saw the packagewas only $750 per pair. Then when they went to $750 each I had to call around to find a decent hotel that wasn't Super 8 or Motel 6 and didnt cost $150/night

Being as that $1000 per pair for 2 days equates to $250 per day for one ticket, $750 per ticket for the 3 day VIP is the same $250 per day.

They made a typo on the website. Why the uproar? The price per day technically is the same as last year.

true it is the same as last year. No argument there. I think people (myself included) are upset because the 750 seemed like an amazing deal and it was all because of a typo.

Exactly. My brothers birthday is that weekend, so as soon as I saw it was $750 a pair I called and told him I'd get VIP for us. We were both excited, just to be let down by a typo. They also changed the price of the single and three day tickets. My favorite part being that the three day pass was $150.50 plus $1 for charity, now its $154.50 with no mention of charity....classy. My biggest issue is that organizers of an event on the level of Sasquatch should be able to have their shit together before they post it online.

I think people see Bonnaroo, see it much cheaper, and see it lasts longer. And also the fact that people thought they were getting a deal..and now...not so much.
