If it happens, I imagine it as all of the above. You can show up, trade some beer, drink some beer, socialize, and eventually move on. That's what I had in mind, anyhow. Someone still needs to step up and host though.

I'm going to be in VIP camping. I don't have any objection to hosting but I'm not sure everyone will be able to get access...

When: Saturday May 29, 2010
Where: outside VIP camping main entrance (look for flag)
Time: noon-1pm

*yes! drinking is involved.

Dammit. Just got to LA and realized I forgot to bring South Carolina brews. Hope I can come anyway. I'll be driving up the west coast though, any place special I should go on the way that has something special that anyone wants? I would feel bad showing up empty-handed. (I'll be going through LA, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.)

Portland (and Oregon in general) has some of the best beers in the west. There are countless microbreweries all worth checking out. One my personal favorites is Bridgeport, but my experience is limited to what is available in Seattle. A local might be able to give you more direction.

Thanks for stepping up, sphinx! I'm arriving Saturday morning so I just hope I'm set up before the exchange is over!

Alright we are arriving Friday night and we'll be in the VIP camping, so we're definitely in. Bringing beers from Ontario and BC!

I will try and find some way to make it work. Do you think we could make it just a little earlier so it doesn't conflict with the first set of bands.

Surly!!!! Is anyone down for some lambics? We got the 10 Cantillon's in Alberta a few weeks ago. I'll bring down some of Alley Kat's Anniversary brews, a smoked porter and a tripel, since I brew them
