Is it wrong to just want to bring a bunch of beer from Quebec, even though I'm Albertan? The Unibroue brewery has some incredible ones in Blanche de Chambly, Fin de Monde, Maudite, etc. Plus they are all available in 750ml bottles, and 8% alc or more!

Real beer, although more expensive; gets you way more drunk. That doesn't mean that I'm not picking up a case of miller lite to drink in the hot afternoon sun.
Microbrews at night, water-beer during the day. Good combo.

Just to clarify, "craft" is defined here as small-scale, independently owned, and traditionally made beers. Quebec's Unibroue make some fine beers, but in recent years they were acquired by a large Japanese based corporation (Sapporo), and now are produced on a mass-scale. It's all about supporting your community brewer and reaping the rewards of his/her quality over quantity ethos.
Given that the Gorge is at the crossroads of some strong beer cultures (portland, seattle, san fran, vancouver, _[insert your community here]_) i have no doubt that at least a few of these beer nerds also enjoy solid live music. Rep.

I'm all for the idea of having a craft beer exchange for us beer snobs to come together and swap delicious beers from different corners of the continent. Of course it would have to happen in the camp ground somewhere, and we'd need an easy way to identify the location from afar. Flags seem to be good at that.
Personally, Sasquatch is all about the cheaper beers. At home I drink almost exclusively craft beer (including my own home brew) but I trade it in for the lighter stuff at festivals. Henry Weinhard's is my weapon of choice at Sasquatch. It's cheaper than my favorite microbrews while still being tasty and even more drinkable in the hot May sun that the veterans among us know has a tendency to show up. I'm an IPA man normally, but I just can't get through them when it's hot. I still shy away from beers like MGD and Bud, but I understand their place and may have a couple if they're around during May long weekend.
That all being said, I am 100% in for a beer exchange. If it's a go I'll definitely bring a 6er (or more) of some of my favorites and show up to trade. Who is up for the task of hosting the beer exchange?

I'm so in for the beer exchange. I will be coming from Van.. Where can I buy this coconut porter?? I've being doing some research about Washington beers that might be good to try. Any suggestions welcome. Got a few great ones on the way in last year.

nice so im assuming we are permitted to bring glass into the campground. Bonnaroo strictly prohibits glass so they take any glass beer or liquor bottles, only cans and plastic allowed. but i heard sasquatch is a little more lax. I'll bring some Montana microbrews. some great scottish ales and ipa's. Tartanic Strong Scottish Ale
Blackfoot’s . A traditional Scottish-style Strong Ale. Dark copper in color,
very full-bodied, smooth and sweet. Alcohol 7.75% by volume. lewis and clark mad max ipa and tumbleweed ipa are both really good also

Sounds like their is enough interest brewing for the first ever SasqCraft. Still, if you are thinking about bringing something to potentially trade feel free to make a post so that we have a better idea of the scale of this inaugural event. For the onlookers, creating a proboards profile takes less time than you may think. Stay chuned for the flagged meeting point and time.
Unlike Bonarroo, glass is permitted in the campgrounds.
The coconut porter is made by Swans (Victoria, BC).

Yeah, that's probably their most well known. The markup is pretty high up here and only independent liquor stores carry more than two (they have like 10 non-seasonal beers). Can't wait to stock up and try some new limited edition brews.

If you're in Vancouver this week, the Alibi Room currently has a wicked lineup that includes Rogues Double Mocha Porter and John John Juniper as well as many local one-off's like Central City's Chipotle Mai Bock and Conrad's Fresh Ginger Beard (the brewer is a redhead with lotsa facial hair, hence the play on words  )

The Alibi Room is easily the best tap house in town, and therefore one of my favorite places to go for a drink. Always a huge selection of imported and small time local brews on tap, and the staff know their shit. It ain't cheap, but then again this city has ridiculously high priced alcohol. It makes me miss living in the States. If they ever legalize happy hours I think I'd lose my shit.
