It's never been a problem in the past in general camping. Who knows if they will monitor this more strictly this year though. At worst, they might charge you an extra camping fee, but I doubt it.

It isnt a problem, they dont do anything about it cause if they restricted how many people per car people would complain about harm to the environment. and the festival has ads for people to car pool.

I've e-mailed gorgeinfo@livenation.com to ask this specific question, but in relation to premier camping. I'm hoping for a positive response, but realistically they can't really turn you down after you show up with a pass and a car full of 5 people.

I'm mighty impressed that anybody can fit 5 people, plus gear in a car. A few years ago we did it with 5 people and ended up leaving some chairs behind.

Then get a bigger car!
Although to be honest I only went with three last year and we were pretty full. We're taking a bigger suv this time around, and bringing along less useless stuff. Plus we have roof-racks. I know it will be packed tightly, but it beats driving another car, and paying for another camping pass.

i got an email back from them in january saying 5 was fine for premier camping as long as everyone arrives in the same vehicle. who knows, you might get a different response though. if you get something similar to what i did, print out what they send back and throw it in their face at the gate if they give you shit.
