I wasn't planning on bringing beer for drinking porpoises... I just wanted to have Canadian beer for trading porpoises. I asked friends and they said pilsner. Do you guys have any ideas?? I pretty much just drink vodka, which I will buy in the US

I'll trade Canadian goods for American goods! I have access to super--southern things like Ale-8-1 and Grippos, small batch bourbon, canned boiled peanuts and poke sallet!

Pil isn't the greatest beer either. It may be a fair comparison.
Spirulina please tell me more about this small batch bourbon.

Basil Hayden, Elijah Craig, Knob Creek, Bakers, etc. Lots of those. Then again, I'm sure you can buy them in any liquor store in the Pacific Northwest.

I'm familiar with knob creek. Not a fan. I love me some Woodfords or even dirty bird.

Know this pain. My friend doesn't drink beer and when we went on a big roadtrip she got some pretty strange looks when she asked for cider in the states. "Like, hot tea?"
She got this at Safeway last year and it was pretty similar to Strongbow, just a little sweeter. I think it'd be hard to drink a bunch of it in a row.

The sweet, sweet appalachian mountains, lump.
Also, Woodchuck is probably the most popular cider that I've seen around here.

You can definitely buy cider at grocery stores in Washington. You won't find 2L bottles of it like you do in BC, but it is definitely available.

Blue Moon is WAY better IMO, but they do have their similarities and I agree that if one like Rickard's White they'll probably like BM.

I don't care if you're brushing your teeth with it. My point remains. If you insist on bringing beer across the border you gotta go with something local and delicious.

I'm speaking relatively. There are far worse options out there. A few examples: Keystone, Ice House, Busch, Milwaukee's Be(a)st, Natural Ice, etc. I could mention malt liquors, but let's not sink that low.
