First timer here...

just a few questions:

how much space can I expect at the premier campsite? (I know I can put up a tent... but will I have enough room to put up like a 10' x 10' canopy, as well?)

Beer: i know Coors sponsors the event... and tallboys are sold inside the gates... but are there any micro brews available? or is it just the normal domestics?

If I want to kill some time between acts... what's the situation on other attractions/ Venders? I.E. - is there other stuff to do apart from music and comedy?

I put up a 10 x 10 canopy in Premiere parking along with a 6 person tent, and that was for just two people. You will have plenty of room in Premiere to do whatever you want.

The beer situation was very very bad last year. Its mainly coors/miller lite/pbr sold at the majority of vendors. I think there were a couple booths that sold heinekens, but they would be $1 less for 16 oz compared to 24 oz of miller lite. I was very dissappointed with the beer situation last year. There was a Jack Daniels area that you could get mixed drinks and wine. Also very expensive. Pretty much everything that you would buy inside is way overpriced and lacking in quality. That was one of my main issues with the festival. It would be nice if they could have one or two good/micro beer booths this year.

And there is not much to do other than music/comedy. There are rumors that there might be re-entry that you pay for ($5 or $10). If thats the case, it might be well worth it to pay for re-entry, go to your campsite for some food/beers instead of having to pay the overinflated costs inside.

It would be good If I could not drink so much during the festival for financial reasons, but it was so damn hot last year, a beer in hand was a necessity.

Also, stay away from the margaritas. They were so sour/sweet and gross with minimal alcohol content and very pricey.

awesome! thanks for answering my questions.

it is kinda silly that there hasn't been re-entry in the past... hopefully, those rumors will amount to something.

Things I learnt from attending my first Sasquatch Fest last year:
- Prepare for insane weather changes. It can go from 30+ to 5 (celcius), or in other words hot as hell to cold as ice in no time. Bring a warm jacket for partying afterwards, and lots of sunscreen/a hat for the day.
- Beer/Food is super expensive/shitty. Bring snacks into the concert with you. Trail mix, granola bars, shit like that. Fruit is ok, but it gets cooked pretty quickly. Bring lots of food/beer/water/ice with you for camping. Save yourself some money and try to eat lots before you go in for the day.
- If staying in Premiere, bring a fucking canopy or shade of some sort. It gets so hot during the day that you will absolutely roast if you don't have one. Last year we all sat in the shade of the car/tent and it was not very comfy.
- Go out hard the first night, because realistically the party cools down the rest of the nights (at least for us it did).
- Set up a towel/blanket on the hill early and avoid looking for somewhere to sit later on. Don't just leave it there all day and never come back till the headliner because you will never find it.
- Bring walkie talkies to help find your group (instead of cell-phones) cheaper (especially for CDNs), and sometimes cell coverage is shit.
- Don't overpack with useless shit. Bring food/water/beer and sleeping essentials. Depends on what kind of vehicle you are taking but for us, it was way too packed amd half the stuff we didn't even use.
Hope this helps/isn't too repetitive.

what's the Sasquatch! branded merch like? Will I be able to buy a Sasquatch! straw cowboy hat? It's kind of my personal tradition to find such a hat and wear it the entire weekend.

Shirts with the lineup, posters, etc. I don't know if they do hats but all the merch is ridiculously expensive.

such is life at a concert festival. I've never been to a concert festival (or a concert for that matter) where everything wasn't stupid expensive, unless it's at a small club or something.

you say expensive, I say cheaper than it is here. Just gotta get diligent on watching the exchange rate.

They actually had microbrews at last year's festival. It was the beer stand at the very back of the Wookie stage. The main entrance path leads you directly to it. I don't recall the selection, but I know I drank a couple IPAs there. They were $10 for what appeared to be a 12 ounce cup, but it could have been 16 ounces.

1. Are camp fires allowed? I am assuming not, but hoping that they are...

2. Are the showers in premium camping always cold?

1. Not that I'm aware of... leaning toward probably not. But fuck it, I also don't think they patrol the campground at night and enforce the various rules. However, if you burn down my tent while I'm inside it, I will haunt the fuck out of you.

2. Probably but I can't answer this. Note: if you don't already have premium camping, it's sold out anyway.

I already bought a premium camping pass...hopefully it will be worth it. As long as I can get some sleep and a shuttle to and from the gate I will be happy :)

Does anyone know how much the General Store charges for ice??

Any non BBQ open flame is not allowed. We had security douche bags trying to shut down our BBQ one night, because they thought we had a burn pit, because it was burning. They were really smart. You can have an open flame if it is charcoal.

General store charges two dollars per bag of ice. And you don't have to actually walk to the general store, because last year they had an ice truck near the showers. Really long line though.

Thanks for responding. Two bucks for ice is totally doable!

No way, only two bucks for ice? I always skipped it because I assumed it fell into the series of obscene price increases... not bad.

Now you have me second guessing if it really was two dollars for ice. I was in bad shape that morning. Maybe someone else can chime in if they recall.
