Does anyone know how the shuttle system works for the premium grounds? Are there 2 set times, to the gates and back, or do they do a few scattered throughout the day?

Does sasquatch ever sell out? If I go I want a 3 day pass like my friends, but I might not be able to make it and will not be sure until the middle of May so I was wondering if I could still get the pass then?
Cheers

Hey guys, first timer here considering going (really want to but am worried about some things..)

My friends and I are considering just sleeping in our cars in the parking lot, think this plan will work at all?

Do we have to pay for the parking alongside our 3 day passes?

How many minutes walk is the parking lot away from the stage?

Thanks in advance guys.

Yes it does. Don't sleep. You're better safe than sorry -- if you can't go, sell that shit on craigslist.

Sleeping in the car won't work because I'm pretty sure the festival empties the parking lot at night. Other people know about nearby camping, and I'll let them tackle possible solutions to your problem.

Parking has been free in the past, and it should continue to be so this year.

It takes you five minutes to walk from car to line. Then another span of time between line and door which depends on when you show up. Maybe 20 minutes? More is possible in my experience. And once you're inside, three or so minutes to the main stage; less to the others.

I showed up at what I thought was a reasonable time last year and found I had to run to catch The Gaslight Anthem on the main stage. Additional advice: Festival security doesn't like running.

They had multiple shuttles running back and forth all day long. I don't remember waiting too long any time going to the fest or leaving. No more than 10 minutes. I think the only issue with the shuttles was that one had a/c issues but that was no big deal. The shuttles were one of the main perks for premium camping.

Do you guys think I can get away with having 5 people at my camp site?

Also how do you go about buying camping passes? Is it just once you get there pay off the $100 and you are good to go?

I've read elsewhere on this board that the 4 person limit is for premier camping, because they only issue 4 premier wristbands per vehicle. You'll need the wristband to get in the premium camping area, and on the shuttle.

I've never heard of people having to pay extra for camping in the main grounds, as I've seen buses full of people get by with one camping pass. I've done it with six in an RV before.

I8 stated parking is free. I didn't realize this, because they've sold parking on ticketmaster in the past. There must be premium parking you pay for, and free general.

Whatever you do, don't do something stupid like try to stash your car somewhere to avoid paying for camping. The tow truck drivers make half their yearly salary at Sasquatch towing people looking to break the rules.

General camping sold out last year early. They got so many complaints, they guaranteed anyone showing up would get a camp site, and ended up with overflow camping near the entrance of the venue. Who knows if they will do that again this year. It's a good idea to err on the side of caution, and buy your camping pass online.

Hey I've never gone to Sasquatch before. I recently moved to WA, and ever since I heard of this festival I really want to go! But I have a question for y'all: what would be a good way to get from Quincy to the Gorge? I don't own a car, and I'm under 21 so I can't rent one, so I've been looking into Greyhound and Amtrak and others. I'm stuck once I get to Quincy, though. Any suggestions?

Hey! This will be my first Sasquatch and I am coming from Victoria, BC Canada!

I just had a few questions regarding parking and camping (doesn't everybody?) I read through all the posts on here and didn't really get an answer to this so here goes..

I bought a premier camping pass, which is good 4 3 days. I also bough a premier parking pass, but it just says "GOOD FOR THIS DAY ONLY" and then shows the date of Monday, May 31st on it.

So like, I've been told that you park at your camp site.. is that true? and if it is, do I just leave my car and tent(s) all in the same spot all weekend? or will I have to move it, or will I have to park somewhere else away from where I camp? I'm not sure why it just says Monday only on the parking pass.. I spent like $30 on it. I hope I don't have to buy one for every day? There was never an option for this when I purchased it.

Also, when the concert is over for a night, and it's like, 1am or whatever, am I able to drive to a store near by and come back to my camp site? Or does no re-entry apply for the entire weekend?

Thanks in advance, so stoked this is my first massive festival experience! I go to Soundwave every year but it's very laid back compared to this.

Cheers,
Mykee

You CAN rent a car if you are under 25. It just costs more.

Welcome. I can't comment on premier camping/parking because I've never done it.

As far as leaving to go to a store: That wouldn't be practical at all. There's a convenience store on-site that is of course overpriced, but that's because you do not want to try driving to Quincy at night and attempt to find a 7-11 or something. Pack well.

Thanks for replying! Hopefully someone relieve my stress over this whole parking thing.. lol

What about lunch/dinner type foods? Is there somewhere to get healthier/meal-type foods in the festival? Like dare I say even a steak dinner? Or is it all just hot dogs, burgers and fries? I don't mind this stuff once or twice in a weekend but you gotta have variety! All I've heard is greasey stuff.. nothing healthy.

What I've heard is that between the ages 21-24 they just add on extra charges. If under 21 you basically cannot rent a car. I'm 20.

you'll likely have to bring your own and cook it at your site if you want a steak
