The article isn't complimentary, but it's funny and insightful.

Its funny but the dude seems to have lost his edge or something. Although, he is right about the way Livenation handled things.

This was my first Sasquatch and I felt the crowd was as chill as any festival crowd that I have experienced. Definitely more chill than Lolla or Vegoose and probably the 2007 Bonnaroo crowd. Did you guys think that the crowd was alot worse this year as compared to other years? If so, was it because of the bands or just the commercialization of music festivals?

Anyways, I had a great time and I will go back if they get a good line-up next year (Flaming Lips and Beasties would be great).

Very negative article. If the author tried in the least bit to enjoy himself and listen to some good music, he would have had a good time. Music was excellent, fans were friendly and engergetic, stage and music quality were terrific, and really just an all around good time. I dont know how you couldnt have a good time...

I've been for the last 5 years. I wouldn't say the crowd was anymore or any less great/tolerable/annoying than previous years. There were in fact a whole heck of a lot more people. Thats for sure. Id say the fest grew by a quarter last year. IMO it was great to see. Cause more people= More Money= more exposure= better lineups. Not that the lineups arent great. But for once id like to have that one headliner that no one has. Oh and the Cure doesn't count. They were just boring 3 years ago.

it sounds like he trying to be a bit pretentious. Did he even go with anyone or friends? Sasquatch has been tons better with friends. The crowd being bad?? I met so many people who gave out free shit or cooked up food if you gave out a friendly hello or chat.

he didnt even cover half the bands. he missed out on a lot of great crowds. animal collective sterile?? it was straight up crazy.

The crowd is fratty??? How are people supposed to dress in 90 degree weather? in parkas?!?! So no clothing.

people are going to bring alcohol..... when beer and booze are through the roof. saves money.

This will be my fifth Sasq, and that article is 100% Correct and 100% wrong.

While there is no doubt that some of the Bro Acts bring their own class of fan, there was still enough downhome Sasq homeyness to make it worth the trip.

The Mess? Festival concerts are messy. No new news here.

Lobster girls in bikinis? Is this a bad thing?

My one and only complaint is that the Premiere camping last year was a screaming nightmare as far as showers go. Other than that?

See you soon y'all
