I checked the forecast again and it's calling for clouds and thundershowers during the festival weekend!!! Fuck I hope that changes.

At least it's not snow though! Like the forecast in my city is calling for...AGAIN!!!!

seriously, don't pay any attention to the forecast until like a week from thursday at the earliest. in this state, it can and will change several times between now and the 29th. as much as i'd dislike clouds and rain, it would probably be preferable to the intense heat of last year which made me ill, causing me to miss most of the yeah yeah yeahs

I agree. Nothing says sexy like a couple thousand females wrapped in trash bags complaining about the elements and wanting to leave early. Bikini tops are entirely overrated anyway.

based on the trend so far this month over there i can almost guarantee that it will be a solid 10-15 degrees cooler than last year, and that sounds fantastic. but RAIN? no fucking thank you.

The rain is awesome as long as its not pouring and shutting down the sets. Take the Flaming Lips UFO set the rain near the end was more than welcome

c'mon... just imagine a 25,000 person wet t-shirt contest. at least half of that is girls. and maybe a third of those are... semi-fine? don't quote me on those statistics, because semi-fine is a pretty subjective statement.

-Temperature maxing at the mid-80's would be good
-Sunshine, good
-Last year, way too fucking hot

cheers to whatever. no matter what happens, I think we can also agree that it will most likely be one of the greatest weekends of our lives! Nine days, until mother nature either..a)has it's way with us. or b)provides us with an even more enjoyable experience. Either way, I'll be prepared for the worst with: lots of spf 60, rain jacket, warm clothes, and most of all DEODORANT.

everyone should pack a light jacket and pants for the evening hours, as is typical with a desert environment the temperature drops quickly after the sun goes down, and the wind on the hill can be brutal if you're just in a t-shirt and shorts. bringing one of those cheap parkas is a good idea too, they're like a dollar or two and will make your experience much more bearable in the event of a downpour.
