So I bought a camping pass for my boyfriend and I, but now he cannot come until Sunday. I am still planning on coming on Friday night(or Sat AM) and camping with a friend. I was wondering what happens if the person I am going with now on Friday leaves their car in the parking lot and we set up camp without her car? I just want to avoid having to buy a second pass. Is this possible? If we are able to leave her car in the parking lot then will have any problems when my boyfriend shows up and wants to join us?

If parking for less, and walking in the campground were possible, more people would be doing it, so the organizers would lose money, so I'm guessing they know this. They will probably post signs in the parking lot when you have to leave by, but it is about a $250 charge if towed if you want to try it.
Year's past, the camping was $40 per vehicle per night. This year is much cheaper for those of us staying four nights, but they equal out their income because of people in your situation, because paying for camping, or leaving the area, are really your only options.

Alright, I have a quick question but I didn't want to start a new thread for it. I am arriving in Quincy around noon on Friday by myself with no car (taking a Greyhound bus). I am planning on walking to the Gorge from there but hope that some kind person will give me a lift. If someone doesn't pick me up and take me, will I be able to walk into the campgrounds considering that's how I got there? knowidyuh, you said, "if parking for less, and walking in the campground were possible..." that just got me thinking. There's no way I'd let them turn me down because I was walking into the campgrounds, I just want to know if I have to prepare for a battle or not.

I don't know how much they charge for walk up campers. I don't think they encourage it, but it has been available in the past. They won't turn you away, rest easy.
I'm guessing you will find a ride in though.
