2013 FORUM COLORS

Hey all, I would like some input on the new forum color scheme I put together tonight. It is based as closely off of the 2013 poster colors as I could get it. Let me know what you think. Yay? Nay? Suggestions?

If you are still viewing the old skin, go to your profile -> modify profile -> select skin -> 2013

If you preferred the blue skin from 2012, you can choose that option as well.

Well, a definite yay from me. Pretty much exactly how I wanted it to look, haha. A lot easier on the eyes.

The black on brown, on brown is a little rough. Maybe some lighter contrast text or something. You are really close though. :)

Unfortunately, Proboards only provides a limited amount of tans, grays, and browns, which are all prominent in this year's poster. I couldn't exactly match any of them, but Photoshop was able to pick out these colors as the closest. The next closest options other than than this tan background color are either light peach or white. Kind of sucks, but it might be what we're stuck with. I'll wait for a little more feedback, and I'll be happy to do some more tinkering before this thing becomes the finished product.

Feedback on the new Logo at the top of the screen?

Yeah, no I totally get it. I would just make the logo in the header a little bit smaller because it distorts the welcome message and then the header background black so it messages seamlessly with the logo. Lastly, the general font would probably be easier to read in a tan or white.

The black on grey forum index at the top left is kind of hard to see/read. Otherwise I kinda like it.

So here's the hangup. Pretty much all of the text has to be either black or white. Which do we want to go with? Or should I remove the background image and go with a plain grey so the black index text will show up at the top?
