Cloud Cult was super emotional for our group. One of our campmates lost a friend last month that was a huge fan of theirs, so we all attended their set together in remembrance. There were a lot of tears during that set. They were absolutely phenomenal as well.

Strangely, I felt weirdly emotional during Blind Pilot. God, I love that band.

Did anyone catch Blind Pilot?

Their last song was one of the funnest dance parties of the weekend. Everyone was going nuts! It was a big love fest down in the pit. I had the biggest damn smile on my face. It was amazing. Such a great moment.

Blind Pilot was just absolutely wonderful. That was another set my entire group caught, and it was a total lovefest. The dance party at the end was indeed incredible! None of must-see acts disappointed.

My only disappointment was UMO due to sound issues. I was super excited for them. I heard they cleaned it up later but we had already left at that point

If that's what they call cleaning up I'd definietly not hire them as maids. They sounded bad, but I think that's the point.

I don't think it helped that they had to follow Craft Spells and Dry The River who were both phenomenal.

Yeah, not sure as I wasn't there. I also missed Craft Spells who I was planning on catching.

I didn't love Girl Talk as much as I thought I would...but I wouldn't say I was dissappointed.

The only acts I didn't enjoy all weekend were the Shin and M. Ward....but I knew I wouldn't enjoy them.

Everyone who I was excited to see fucking nailed it. Plus a ton of amazing surprises that I had no prior feelings towards (Beardyman, Blind Pilot, Tycho, Todd Barry, Civil Wars, Jamey Johnson, Chiddy Bang).

What a perfect fucking weekend.

There were only 2 sets I didn't love all weekend: SBTRKT who was too mellow for my mood at the time, and STRFKR because the mood was brought right the fuck down by the bitch of a security guard who basically strip-searched my friend during their set.

Otherwise, everyone else met and/or exceeded my expectations. Just a solid weekend of music.

Only 3 disappointments for me: Shins (that dude on the flying machine was cake though), Joy Formidable (Awful sound and it seriously looked like Ritzy was lip syncing the entire time) and SBTRKT (It seriously felt like a random DJ set...).

Wtf?? Everyone I was with was floored by the Joy Formidable's set. Y'all must have been way too peeled back during those sets. They were fantastic.
