Ms. Burrito will be at work and stuff. Lame. Being a freak for Ben Folds, she decided to sell her Sasquatch ticket in favor of Bonnaroo. Not so lame. We're also going to Coachella together, and she's taking all of her allotted time off between those two festivals. I have high friends in places so I get to do all three.

I went through some unfortunate times to say the least with illness recently, so my amazing friends and a couple rich white guys whom I've never met are basically carrying me to these festivals. Hooray for friends! And generous wealthy people!

This is my third time going to Sasquatch, but the first time on my own. I cannot wait to experience this way. I don't have to worry about what everyone else is doing.

What kind of co-dependant people do you guys go to Sasquatch with?
My first night at Sasquatch ever, 3 friends and my (ex)girlfriend:
Me: "I'm going to the YYYs"
2 friends: "Me too"
Ex and other friend: "Bon Iver for us"
Me: "Cool, meet you at the place to be after the shows."
That's it. If you can't be apart from people for a set or two how do you live your lives?
I realize this sounds sort of harsh, but if you care as much about seeing the shows you want as most people I go with, then it isn't worth staying together and regreting missing a show you really wanted to see.

I do love running into other friends when I'm drunkenly wandering around the gorge. Or making friends who are also wandering around drunkenly, that's the best.
