I know a few people that went to Sasquatch and were sober all weekend, so it is possible. Congrats on your recovery. You'll have a blast at Sasquatch.

I go for the music, not to get fucked up. The price of drinks is enough reason to not drink while your at the show. I wouldn't want to stay at the camp ground if I was in recovery. I have been clean and sober for the most part for several years, and rarely indulge in any substances. It is something I had to do, and didn't let it keep me from going out and enjoying shows. Good job. Stay strong.

sorry bout the ironic-ness lol i partied hard for 5 years non stop, and had to get sober, just because im sober doesn't mean my life is over lol i rave and party hard still lol and can say no to drugs and alcohol because i know what it will do to me and still party and have a great time. just thought it would be cool to meet up with some people in the community doing the same and be able to talk to people in recovery if need be at the festival. im going no doubt lol already got my ticket, and im good with working with people using or drinking because i did it for awhile hard lol so ya sorry that confused some people i guess lol

That's funny. I have programmed my self to look right past the lols. I didn't even notice them until they were pointed out.
EDIT: Now that I look even closer it is probably because every where there should be a period there is an lol instead.

thanks for the help i guess, ill be partying my ass off all night with or without other sober people. alot of my good friends still get fucked up all the time and i party with them so im not to worried about it. thats funny tho the guy just ditched after that XD
