If you're coming down 97 to highway 17 (and 28 to 283), the liquor store in Ephrata is right off the main drag to the left (1st light coming from the north - named "In the Spirits"). If you need to stop sooner cause you won't get down this far till late, the liquor store in Oroville at the 97 border crossing is just past Prince's Department store on the right and is named "The Brown Jug." All this info is useless if you're not coming down 97 to 17...
...if you are though, look into taking a little back road up Mansfield Hill just past the Bridgeport, WA Columbia River crossing @ Cheif Joseph Dam. Go up the hill, hang a right at the top, a left @ Hwy 2 (east), then another right onto Moses Coulee Road. This route is beautiful, less traffic (almost none), and about 10 miles shorter than staying on 17. You'll drop into Ephrata at the same light mentioned for the liquor store. Only downfall is you'll miss driving through the lower end of Grand Coulee.

And since this thread is about booze...
I remember someone mentioning pickle juice mixer for tequila (Hornitos!!) I picked up some Martinellis (maker of sparkling cider) "Sparkling Prickly Passion Lemonade" (prickly pear passion fruit lemonade ^carbonated) to mix with vodka. Sounds good, right? Any other idears for mixin'?

Does this have to be taken before you go to sleep? If you slam a bottle of sports drink before bed it really helps the hangover too, but if I'm drunk enough that a serious hangover is a concern I'm usually too lazy or forgetful to do that before I go to sleep.

DAVERS: I don't know that it really matters when you drink it. I would say when you go to sleep as a preventative measure but if you drink one in the morning, you'll feel better also because you are being so quickly re-hydrated.

Yes, definitely. I think you're only allowed to bring in empty camelbaks. Maybe if you hide it well you could get away with it, but I'm not promising anything.

Ro: that's what I Dr. Garbanzoured. Hangovers aren't much of an issue for me at the Squatch though because I'm still drunk when I wake up and just continue drinking.
