New Board Design!

Admittedly I'm a novice at this sort of thing, and I'm still working out some of the kinks in terms of the color scheme, but I thought it was time we got rid of the 2008 motif.

What do we think? Suggestions?

I like it. If I could find anything to criticize over, it's that the dark blue (which is more like a natural blue) may be a little too dark. or too blue.

Yah that's what I was feeling too. I probably should have done this in the middle of the night when nobody was on the board, but I'm doing it now. There's so many buttons in there, Jesus!

A little fine tuning yet to be done, but I think we're on the right track.

The colors are too similar and so garish. Its legitimately hurting my eyes.

SUGGESTIONS:
1. Use a dark navy somewhere for contrast. The top bar?
2. The body of the board needs to be a less saturated hue that makes it easy to see the poster's gender (especially if they are male)
3. And the background should be more similar to the actual photo because when it doesn't load properly, its a big surprise.

That is true. I guess I wasn't expecting the page to be so BLUE when I opened it this morning.

Also something minor but the bit that's in white text (Sasquatch! Music Festival :: Sasquatch Discussion...etc) is rather hard to see with the background.

The dark navy colors were clashing. They were there and I had to pull them.

There's a surprisingly limited selection of colors, but I'll see what adjustments I can make for the actual post backgrounds. Like I said, still hammering out the finer points.

As for #3, I don't really know what you mean.

So when I said I like text on dark blue text was black, but when it posted text was changed to light blue, so i edited "I was talking about black text", then when that posted it was already changed back, so I laughed.
