1.) Putting an end to petulant dickery before it gets out of control. There will be much petulant dickery in the coming months, and as usual most of it will be aimed at yours truly. Assholes like Delta and squatchcreep won't spend a fraction of the time shitting in the communal punchbowl if they know that I am nominally in charge. By that same token, I will have my own constraints. The board will be a more peaceful, productive place. Also I will participate in the act of banning scalpers with childish glee.

2.) Honestly I think the mods fostered a far too laissez-faire attitude in the case of DeltaSigChi4. That guy should have been out on his ass almost immediately, but instead our mods' egalitarian approach nearly cost us our entire forum. This is indicative of larger issues. I know that banning people from the board is a VERY small part of what being a moderator entails, and that it will almost never be necessary or actually happen, but in some cases it IS necessary and I think those instances need to be identified MUCH sooner than they traditionally have been.

3.) dubstep = cock knock rock

4.) I might finally update the wallpaper and/or color scheme to reflect a more current Sasquatch festival than the one which took place in... what is this, 2006?

5.) Delta. Easy. The creepster at least had a brain. Thirty seconds of googling made it entirely apparent that Delta's one and only intention on this board or any board is to cause trouble and piss people off.

6.) I'm pretty fucking wary of the final stipulation under ProBoard's Content restrictions. I don't trust those knuckleheads to rationally dictate what constitutes bad taste. Bad taste is pretty apparent, and this forum has generally been very good about not allowing it, i.e. pterodactyl porn.

We need a mod that isn't going to pull any punches. There will be three mods, at least, and it's not like I'm going to just be able to do whatever I want. But you all know that I have a tendency to say what we are all thinking, and that will be used for everyone's benefit.

I want this; I deserve this. I ain't gonna be cutesy about it. Delusions of grandeur aside, with the shitshow this place will become by the end of December, Horned Gramma is just what this place needs.

One of the reasons I love this fora so much is because of people like Deltasigchi4. Their constant stupidity (trolling or not) is extremely entertaining. Unless they get to the level of squatchcreep, I don't see why they need to be banned.

There was an episode of NewsRadio in which Phil Hartman's character relinquished the position of news director at WNYX. Either Dave Foley or Maura Tierney would have to become news director to take his place, but neither wanted the position.

Anyway, all of the supporting characters individually came to Dave to tell him that they had his support; that they would vote for him to be the new boss. But when the election finally took place, every single one of them voted for Lisa (Maura Tierney). Dave was outraged. But then Mr. James (Stephen Root), the station's owner, announced that in spite of the unanimous vote for Lisa, Dave would be the new boss. When the staff members asked him why, he said
