Some of you may have noticed that our fearless leader Know ID Yuh has not been around so much lately. He and I have been in contact, and I have been advised that he was asked to moderate a message board devoted entirely to pi (sometimes they also talk about pie) and that he has decided to accept the offer. Apparently they pay the Relative Maximum. So it is with that, that he has left the fate of this fledgling board to Weak Shit Superfan and I.

Frankly, we can't do it alone... well we could but I'm lazy. So let's hear it. If you are interested in becoming the next moderator please PM both Weak Shit Superfan and I so that we can get an idea of who's willing and able. We'll make a decision prior to my going away on the 29th so that Weak Shit Superfan can have a helper while I'm gone.

Below are know's criteria for mod.

8. Be mellow, meaning not taking the knee-jerk-reaction of banning assholes.
9. Be politically correct, but accepting of frat-douches who don't know what PC means.
10. Be organized.
11. Be tall and handsome.


#2 is not a huge requirement for me as long as the person is right for the job. The rest of it is pretty bang on.

Further to this, I have decided that there will be a Jell-o Dr. Garbanzoht to decide the winner.

I would consider throwing my hat in the ring on this one but I am going to Mexico on the 30th so that pretty much excludes me by #5.

It begs the question though, you guys get paid?!?!

Seriously though: I've mellowed. I'd mellow even further if responsibility necessitated it. I love this forum, I read just about every damn post that's made, I have some kind of seniority and I been to more damn Sasquatches than most of y'all.

Although we're not doing this election-style, I'd love to see some election-style posts here, people. I want slogans and platforms. "If elevated to mod, I would ______________." Also, let's get some mud thrown.

I read almost every post on here, but don't really feel I'd be a good moderator - I don't know everyone on here well enough yet. I'm also probably too non-asshole-ish to survive.

Since I am always at a computer, I check in here throughout the day. I think the most consistent users are HG and Geno. It kind of seems like one extreme to the next with them though. I think HG could do it. Maybe give him probationary period. See how many noobs he bans in that period.
