Both years I have gone to sasquatch (2010, 2011) by the end of the last day I feel like I have contracted full blown aids or something. I drank lots of water and ate relatively healthy both years, but I still felt like death. And it's not my serotonin being depleted or anything and being depressed and tired, its a serious case of a head/chest cold. I think next year I am just going to drink a thing of emergen-c with every mixed drink that I make.

Anyone else sick?

Wicked awful cold right now that has left me with such a sore throat that I can barely talk- I think it has something to do with the fact that for teh first 2 days we went around pouring people drinks out of a beach bucket with a ladel which was shared with probably 100 people- it was great fun, but basically turned my body into a refugee camp for frightened and destitude STDs.

I have a MASSIVE cold. I've felt like death for the past two days. But I didn't party at all (seriously, I had one margarita the entire weekend) and I went to bed early each night. I think it was just the chilly nights that did me in. Each morning I'd wake up with a sore throat that would go away by noon, but on Monday I just felt worse and worse as the day went on. By the time it started raining during Rodrigo y Gabriela, I knew I was a goner.

I'm stuffy with a sore throat, but i attribute it to being around 10,000 other people and in an environment that my body is not used to...oh yeah and the screaming and joints...

After any festival I go to I always get sick. I blame the screaming, smoking, drinking, and the biggest thing: the dust in the air. Not to mention there was a few Reba of thousands of people all partying together :-)
Luckily this time around I took the 2 days after squatch to also recuperate, my paycheck may hate me but my body loves it. I still have a wicked stuffy nose though and a slight cough.

I'm not sick, but I have this really really weird ghost wristband feeling on both arms. It's actually freaking me out a bit.

Also, sorry to post in your thread with my weirdness, but I'm beginning to think I can sleep unless I'm in a tent at Sasquatch. I think I set a record for most hours slept.

Yup, I'm super sick. I can't talk, everyone in the office has been making fun of me.

Happens to me after every festival. Combination of drugs, booze, lack of sleep, swapping fluids....I am quarantining myself in my apartment this weekend.

My group calls that the skin hurt.

You wake up, all hungover with ears ringing and nose runing and say "Ahhh my skin hurts!" then neighbours are all like "WTF you talking about d00ds?" And you say, "what do you mean? My skin, it hurts, and its EVERYWHERE"

This probably doesnt translate into anything remotly funny on the internet, but we like it.

And yes, I am sick as shite. No voice, coughing all night and a runny nose. Not really much of a mystery though, I slept probably 20 hours in 5 days, drank a huge amount of booze, used cups I found lying around my (or other peoples) site to play beer pong, played dizzy bat with neighbours bat... germs paradise as far as I can tell.

I think I probably consumed about 2000 calories the entire weekend. Was so mangled, eating fell way down the priority list. Felt horrible the whole trip home, but a day on the couch has me right as rain.

You are forgetting the calories in alcohol. Each beer has almost 200 calories. I lived off of spray pancakes (seriously, this is why america is the greatest country in the world)

chicken strips and fries the whole weekend.

Yeah, probably about 1000 calories a day in food, but probably 3000-4000 a day in booze.
