They are friends with me Dr. Garbanzo, and thus not easily frightened.

Dr. Garbanzoured I would throw my hat in this ring too, since I dont see any people from my area posting. Bob Saget RV area FTW!

There were 4 camps pretty much in a row where I was that got trashed. The awesome Oregon people to my right got thier table and all thier shit overturned, we got out tent slashed, and the guys to our right had thier tent opened and all thier shit dumped out. I actually had (I know, Im fucking retarded) 3 Nintendo DS in the tent and 2 Kindles, as well as my wallet which had everything except my ID and cash. nothing was stolen at all, but they took my girlfriends bag and then dumped it out about 15 campsites away. Thank god that 99.9% of Sasquatch is made of awesome people cause someone gathered all of her stuff when they found it and then found us and brought it to her. Someone else let us use some duck tape to patch the tent (Wish I could have given them more than just a few beers for it).

The only thing lost (We dont think it was stolen, since none of the other expensive shit was stolen) was a "Domo" case that happened to have one of the DS in it with an M3Simply. We think it just got lost, and someone may have just picked it up. If you found it, please email me at
kermitk50 AT gmail DOT com. It really means a lot. Hell, even if you stole it, just keep the DS, the Domo case was a present and is really worth nothing but sentimental value, and the M3Simply is super out of date and worth pretty much nothing too. Ill even pay for shipping and everything to get it back to Seattle.

At least it wasnt as bad as our AWESOME neighbors 5 cars down who got thier window smashed in and bags stolen from thier car! They had to detour to Seattle to get thier window fixed because they had come up from Tennessee, and had to drive all the way back!

I guess thats one of the perks of pretty much never sleeping (at least until the sun is shining and my campmates are awake); nobody was about to come terrorize my campground as long as I was standing on my buddy's SUV with my pants down screaming "BURNETTS FOR BREAKFAST" and chugging it.

Did anyone else interact with the guy(s) "donating" hare krishna books? I sort of got the feeling after he left that he was scoping out campsites to steal from later. I didn't get anything stolen, but I was pretty careful with the valuables.

I'm guessing most thieves aren't spending too much time loitering in a site or tent. Leaving things out in open view (locked or otherwise) is the worst move.

this guy's there every year. did he have a like bucket hat ?

I don't think he had a hat at all. Just a big back pack. I think he was dressed mostly in black.

I definitely bought one of those books from him for $5. At first I thought he was Billy Corrigan.

Life size cardboard cut-out of Roberto Luongo went missing sometime Monday from the front of my van. Hopefully he found a good home for the rest of the Stanley Cup finals.

Go Canucks!!!!!

I loaned my Sasquatch 2010 track jacket to some girl dressed as a giraffe over by the Banana Shack on... Saturday? I think Saturday. She was camped out with my group of friends and everyone assured me I'd see her again before the end of the weekend. Didn't end up happening. I don't know if that counts as "lost" or "stolen", but I do know that girl looked awfully cold and so although I was rather fond of that jacket I feel like it went to a good home.

Anyway, if Kelly the Giraffe Girl sees this...

We had a friend in our convey who was totally gone one night and preceded to hand his wallet to a complete stranger and take off for the dance tent, (I think,) the next day the wallet was at lost n' found, money and cards and all.

In the real world I might be a heartless bastard and I'd probably pinch the money- but you really can't disturb festival mojo in that way.

Ha! I just remembered this! We were sitting on the terraces during Decemberists and my buddy starts freaking out about how he lost his phone. We had all seen him with it fifteen minutes before and he had been sitting still drinking bourbon since then. He makes us all dig through and look under all our shit and none of us can find it. Finally after we've been looking for like ten minutes he stands up and it falls out his pant leg.

Turns out he'd been rubbing it on his balls and was going to try to make us look at photos on it (?) and was too drunk to remember what the fuck he was doing.

Fucking prank gone wrong buddy.

I got my shower tent stolen and then returned (in the middle of the night, on its side with one stake). Otherwise, I didn't really lose or get anything stolen.

Although, there were people in our general area who apparently had their tents cut open and everything stolen. So not only is your stuff taken, but you have no where to sleep either. Classy moves!
