Me and my 3 neighbors got robbed aswell:

Our neighbors from Berkley cali had a bunch of weed on them stolen some cash, some people behind me had 60$ and an a ipod jacked from their tents. They took my old jankety ipod and a the worst fm transmitter ever, but left my wallet with 300$, a second brand new ipod (in the cup holder next to the stolen one) and an iphone which were also in my car.

But the worst was our awesome neighbors from Detroit ( hey hey! hockeytown! ) they smashed their drivers side window and stole 2 phones, when I first saw it I honestly thought one of my drunk ass friends fell into it, would of never thought some moron would rob kids at sasquatch. They ended up having to drive to the dealer in Seattle putting them on a drive 2 hours the opposite way that they needed to drive.

But after the whole experience made a huge chunk of our camping section become super good neighbors and ended up getting over it with a record setting group shotgun (in my books atleast). One of our inside jokes was " It's my money... AND I NEED IT NOW!!!! " after over hearing some girl yelling it at her boyfriend whilst on one of our visits to the honey buckets.

also ran into a bunch of people who lost their keys, i even returned one to lost and found...

2 out of three cars that came with me got robbed due to them not locking their shit. One ipod and one amp was stolen. I also think my tent was rifled through but I wasnt sure if I had even zipped it up when I left upon arrival.

The guy I was camping with had his cooler full of alcohol stolen. I still think it was our shitty teenage neighbors.

We came back to our campsite to find our handle of Burnetts missing. All my friends assumed it was our neighbors but I just wasn't buying it.

Sure enough, an hour later one of our buddies we were camping with comes strolling up carrying the bottle lol.

It does seem like there are more reports of thievery, and my guess as to why is the fact that less people were expected to be in the campground during the day this year, so the people who usually come to steal were able to get away with more.

One of the girls in our group lost her backpack with her passport in it. Not awesome times. There were a couple tense hours trying to Dr. Garbanzoure out what the fuck we were going to do. However the next morning, our amazing neighbors said they saw it sitting out in the open so they grabbed it and kept it in their tent! Awwwww I love sasquatch people.

Our buddies came up from the pit on the last night to find their backpacks gone, car keys inside. They went down the next morning and one of the workers had one of the backpacks on, filled with random shit he had been picking up all day. We ended up about a million soyjoy bars richer!!

Someone needs to start a thread for stories of sharing & generosity to counter all this bad karma!

Did anyone else interact with the guy(s) "donating" hare krishna books? I sort of got the feeling after he left that he was scoping out campsites to steal from later. I didn't get anything stolen, but I was pretty careful with the valuables.

I'm guessing most thieves aren't spending too much time loitering in a site or tent. Leaving things out in open view (locked or otherwise) is the worst move.

The only people who robbed me were the entry security people who stole my glass piece and a pack of smokes with 4 cigs and some roaches in it.

They also took my bubble sword.

Yeah one of these guys came to our campsites and was sketchy as hell. He looked super messed up and kept trying to give us those books.

Stolen: A backpack out of my tent with a camera, some bottlecaps and illicit substances in it. Had it stashed away pretty good (back of my tent under an air mattress), so whoever took it spent a few minutes going through my stuff.

Lost: My Ray-Bans. My own fault. Way too fucked up on Sunday night after leaving the venue. No clue what happened to them.

I heard a rumor, which sounds like it could be fabricated, but I'll share it nonetheless. Apparently, a couple guys watched someone go through tents. They intervened, beat him senseless and then dragged him up to first aid / security. This is likely bullshit, but I am just going to believe that the guy who stole my stuff got what was coming to him.

 Lost: Panasonic Lumix ZS7 Camera

Hey,

I know this may be futile but I lost a silver Panasonic Lumix ZS7 on the Monday afternoon somewhere on the lawn near the main stage. If you or anyone you know has found it I would really really like to get the photos from it, the camera too obviously but I am mostly concerned about the photos. Anyway, if you know anything or can help out it would make me incredibly happy. Thanks.
