Dancing is not a crime. What we're seeing here is the aftermath of whatever interaction led security to hold her that way in the first place. Showing us this footage without the rest is giving us an incomplete story. And while I appreciate that you're looking for documentation, you've also labeled that video on YouTube with some inflammatory language, so just be up front with us here.
I hope you get some footage of what happened before your friend was held there.

A friend of ours was arrested during the riot at the gates on Sunday. I wasn't there, but apparently the charges were for 'inciting a riot'. Poor fucker spent two days in the Ephrata jail. Anyway, he's suing Live Nation and from what I hear he's got a decent case against them. If anyone was there and saw what happened it would be useful to hear about.

That's ridiculous. My friend and I made it through the gates apparently right before it got ugly, and when we finally made it through, I turned to my friend and said, "This is how riots get started...." I'm not surprised at all to hear the crowd was angry enough with the insane holdup to start a ruckus. It's ridiculous that any individual would be arrested for inciting that. If anyone incited it, it was security guards like the one dude I saw who was taking several minutes *per person* to do a search so in-depth it involved smelling a girl's Chapstick, and shaking out another girl's makeup bag to the point he unscrewed her mascara tubes and examined her freaking eyelash curler. Force a few hundred people to wait through that b.s., causing them to miss bands they paid good money for, and a riot will *undoubtedly* ensue.

I think I must have gone through about 10 minutes before the 'riot' kicked off as well. People were getting unruly and started to cramp in too tight. I told a few people around me to calm down and stop pushing. Hopefully nobody was seriously hurt, although I heard some stories of people being trampled. I know the wait was ridiculous, but that's how someone is seriously hurt or killed.

One of the people arrested and thrown in jail was trampled during the riot. He got up and made his way to the fence on the side, and climbed up it to get away from the crowd. As he did that, a cop tackled him. He was charged with inciting a riot as well.
Crazy. I saw a fan who tried to get into the pit during "Flogging Molly" get thrown to the ground, put in a head lock, and dragged out of the pit. Those security guys make me feel less safe, not more safe.

Yeah that was a nasty scene on Sunday. Like Abominable, I got through basically right before the "riot" happened. It was way too hot and way too many people cramped tightly together. After about 20-30 minutes in that cluster fuck people started losing their shit and started pushing which wasn't helping anything. We started passing around water bottles to try and cool things down but people were piiiiiiiissed.
I finally got through, and I was just past the wristband scanner when I looked back and saw a flood of people just crushing through the gates. I grabbed our group and pulled them over to the honey buckets until it died down. Pretty nasty scene.
I didn't see anyone getting arrested or any security acting inappropriately...it was just really shitty planning. That needs to be way more organized.

I do have to wonder what qualifications these guards have. Do they have experience in security before this? Have they been trained on how to properly deal with crowds and intoxicated people?
It seems like maybe the guards should leave the handcuffing and headlocks to the police. Especially the alcohol enforcement folks. Sounds like they might have been getting on some power trips without really knowing how to handle the situations.
There might actually be a case here if Live Nation is hiring unqualified people who are putting attendees in danger.

I had one run in with security all weekend. I had been waiting just outside the gate to get into the pit during Local Natives in anticipation of Wolf Parade. After finally being let in, I think I see my friends still in line. I decide to jump up on the little bench on the backside of the dividing fence for a better view and to coordinate where to meet them. A security guy comes up and asks me to get down; no problem. He then tells me I need to leave the pit and get back in line for this minor offense. I try to reason with him saying I didn't know it was a big deal and I wasn't there to start trouble, all in a very calm manner. He then grabs me forcefully by the arm, my reflexes kick in and I swat his hand away. Bad idea. He says something about resisting and assault. Thank god I am still relatively sober at this point and from there let him know that I had waited in line for over an hour, am really sorry and that he is about to ruin my afternoon for something really minor. He miraculously lets me go with a warning not to cause any more shit.
I really shrugged it off as not a big deal when it happened, but after reading some of these other stories, I think I was about 10 seconds away from being head-locked, wrestled to the ground, handcuffed, ejected and detained / jailed.

I didn't have a problem with security at all but stories like this makes me fucking angry. Kind of off topic but the security looked really annoyed with the floating toys during Chromeo that a couple of especially pissed off looking ones started to deflate them and throw them in the garbage.

I saw that from up top right before flaming lips! They were grabbing the inflatables and ripping them up! It was pretty funny considering what came next. I bet they were looking at Wayne's hamster ball with itchy fingers.
EDIT: Woo! 200 posts! I'm getting there!

Yeah this sounds messed up. Most of the security there were dicks. From the time I showed up to get a camping spot til the time I left it was bad mojo with those ego trippers. They cut me off from drinking with double hand X's at 4 p.m. on saturday cause it took me to long to find my I.D. to go into the Jack Daniels area. Yeah I just got done slamming drinks during Wolf Parade, but c'mon. The same dude let my buddy in and said I wasn't that drunk. He just didn't want to wait for me to find my I.D. I had a wristband anyway.

What was up with the security "blockade" in front of the main stage? They had so many people making sure that people wouldnt get to the front. Wouldn't it make everything easier for everyone just to let people through?
Especially during DFA when everyone was pushing down the wall of security to the point where they all fell to the ground.
