8-)
Bring ID to the amphitheatre gets you beer and exclusive beer garden washrooms

Food and drink is pricey for sure

The Honey Pots get cleaned at the same time everyday so time your visits for just after when you can

Showers available

No fires no picnic tables no shade you will want the last 2 for sure

No re-entry so if your buying tickets outside the gets don't get scammed by someone who left the concert and resold his ticket

No worries about your camping gear our stuff was safe all three days, actually no worries for safety at all, really good people at the campground in my experience

my only complaint is that someone stole my hamburger patties last year.... oh well, there's no need for food at sasquatch. as long as you have beer.

Alcohol is super easy to sneak in, especially for premiere campers.

so it's easy in the premier, first question explain how easy? and does that mean it is hard in the regular camping?
i've never been , thinking about going this year since pemberton got cancelled for 2009, and at pemberton you could walk in while drinking a texas mickey.

^We had the ultimate plan to smuggle vodka into Pemberton that would have got past Coachella-like security. After all was said and done, I could have definitely walked in with a texas mickey and no one would have batted an eye! All that worry and work for nothing.
...and we ended up partying so hard Thursday night we drank everything we had anyway and ended up buying $7 beers all weekend anyway ::)

jewels,

haha same here I bought a 12 pack of water and filled all the middle bottles with vodka, and made a false back to by back pack for the whiskey, and in the end it didnt mater, and we drank it all by friday at noon. Also did you notice the big fence at the west side of the campground fell down and there was a trail to the parking lotthere and no one did anything bout it , we brought in 4 cases of beer to our tent from there.

I have always brought booze in, but beer is a bit tougher. Are they more lax at checking patrons when the gates first open prior to noon? I usually show up after 1pm, and I have had my pockets checked virtually every time I entered. If you want to sneak booze in, I would recommend playing it safe and being sneaky. If in the end it didn't matter, cool. But if you get yours taken at the gate, you will be wishing you were more coy (especially while drinking $12 Coors).

That's totally what we did! The water bottles I mean...ingenious, hey? We got the "honor system" by our 18yr old security guard at the pole line lot before we went on the bus, he didn't check us or anything. It's really too bad we just flew so low under the radar or I would've brought a hell of alot more in.

Haha we did the same thing with vodka in the water bottles. And I know of at least 10 other people who did the same thing. Too bad it was totally unnecessary. The security was non-existent. Did anyone try the $7 mojitos in the Bacardi tent? they were damn tasty.

Once we realized security didn't give a shit, were bringing gold tequila in our clear water bottles. It made those sticky, nasty foot-long margaritas a hell of a lot tastier. Vodka?? Bletch. I wouldn't even bother trying to get beer in. That's just idiotic... unless they start making clear beer in plastic bottles.

Not to sound like someone's mom, but drink lots and lots and lots of water even if you aren't boozing. And then drink more water.

Earplugs. Not for the concert, but to sleep if you really want it.

Poncho. It WILL rain. Best 99 cents I ever spent.

Don't even try to sit on the concrete all day. You'll hate yourself.

Make friends with your neighbors... both in camp and at the venue. They're much more likely to share, AND they'll keep people from messing with your space when you're running around.

We made hot dogs right before we left, wrapped them in foil in the buns and threw them in our bags. Awesome cheap lunch with the right dogs.

I don't recall having any good food that wasn't made back at camp.

Good advice, you shouldn't have to pay $200+ to eat and get drunk at the festival if you plan ahead, especially in this economy.

My opinion though is that it WILL NOT rain. There was nary a drop of rain in the ten days preceding last year's festival, and it didn't rain Sasquatch 07 or Sasquatch 05. Agreed you should still be prepared if it does though.

Water? Who needs water when you have PBR?
