Yeah, probably not...

But if it is one of the other 2 options was she planning on reaching in there and drinking it in line? And if it was booze, could you really fit a substantial amount in either place? So much of that statement makes so little sense.

I am pretty sure she was waiting until they were inside the venue.

I'm trying to remember if she mentioned what she was packing because I spoke a bit with her but I'm not certain what I remember and what I want to remember. But I am definitely not creative enough to make that statement up and it stuck in my mind because I couldn't Dr. Garbanzoure it out.

Haha I'm sure its true, I've heard far stranger things uttered in lines at sasquatch.

Putting things in orifices is way further that I would go to smuggle things in though, that takes some commitment.

Zip lock bag can be tucked into your waist too if you're a guy. Even if they pat it down, they don't feel the bag
Also last year, I had a sprite bottle half full of vodka, they took it off me and put in the bin, I just took it back out as he frisked the next person in line, ha.
An older staff person spotted me with it later, but I just ran away from him with ease

That sounds like the only way to try to sneak booze in that almost ensures you will get kicked out.

Getting your booze taken then just pulling it out of the garbage. Sounds like it would piss off security an awful lot if they saw. I've seen lots of ziplock bagging- I think to get in bags that way they can't have enough booze for it to be worthwhile for me.

I have one of these. It's two separate containers. I haven't tried it because I don't want it to get taken away, but this might be my solution this year.

Ha I've seen those and laughed every time- kinda reminds me of the ridiculous cell phone flasks. I'd be fine with it, and you'd probably get by with it (but as you say- it getting taken away would suck), but then you have to carry around empty binoculars all day, as presumably you dont' want to actually be seen drinking out of it.

All this talk about lighters and seals and drills is insane though- homebrew shops always have plastic caps that are factory with seals on them for bottling yoru own beer in plastic. They are the way to go

My booze belly worked like a charm at Coachella. I snuck 750 ml in around my waste and no one knew the better :)

For three years in a row my friends and I did the same thing but they caught on last year so I don't see a problem sharing it. We used to empty out a pringles can and then stick water bottles full of booze inside them. Throw a few pringles on top and then close it with the paper seal still on top so it looks unopened. I don't know what happened but last year we only got about half of it in so we're not going to be doing that anymore.
