And before anyone calls sexism, neither the gender of the slapper or the slappee had anything to do with me calling that a bitch slap.

Don't listen to these people it is great to bring kids to sasquatch. Just get a hotel and stay on the hill. I have been going to sasquatch since second grade I have turned out just fine.

How many people that replied with "babies hate sound decibels" actually have kids? I'm not saying bringing kids is a good idea, all I am saying is parenting advice from people who are not parents is not necessarily superior than the advice coming from a 17-year-old, who has actually been a baby that enjoyed Sasquatch.

As a noted expert on small children and music festivals, I think that the 2-5 range is probably okay if they have a pair of those big spongy headphones to wear. When yr ears are small things seem louder, or something.

Davers, no need to be so skittish. People aren't just "calling" stuff randomly.

Haha, sometimes I just forget that everyone else in the world doesnt necessairly get that I'm joking whenever I make a sexist joke or comment. Everyone in my group of friends (guys and girls) knows that none of us are sexist so jokes like "Why dont women wear watches?" "Because there's a clock on the stove" are fine with everyone.

I was mostly just trying to avoid another debate like the one a couple weeks ago.

Uhh that joke is not even close to being the same kind of thing as using the phrase 'bitch slap'.

How can people be so oblivious of where the line is?

But then again, based on this

I get the feeling that davers doesn't understand the actual connotations of the phrase 'bitch slap' or why it would be offensive. It doesn't have anything to do with referring to someone as a bitch.

It all depends on who you talk to. I was pretty surprised at some of the stuff people were offended by in the great argument of April, so I just didnt want to take any chances.

Everyone has a different line, if there was a set line then we wouldnt be offending anyone because people would just know "oh that joke is higher than 6/10 on the sexism scale therefor everyone will be offended."

I love sexist and racist jokes (especially ones about guys and white people, of which I am both) but I am fully aware that there is a time and a place for them, and a message board with a bunch of people I dont really know probably isnt the place.
