Hello! I was hoping someone could clarify this issue for me. I'm planning on bringing food for a picnic for my friends and I while we are at the festival. Is food allowed inside? If I brought a large lunch/dinner in my backpack would I be able to bring it in with me during the day? I'm trying to pinch pennies here and would prefer to save money on food rather than purchasing from vendors. What about water bottles? I know they must be unopened but could I bring a pack of 6 for the day?
Are certain items not allowed in? Packaged foods? What is the situation here! Please don't tell me I have to eat greasy pizza all weekend!!

You can bring in as much food as you want (within reason), as long as it is in a clear plastic bag. You can bring in as much sealed bottled water as you can fit. I assume you can only bring in whatever fits in your backpack (don't walk up to the line carrying a flat).
Its all listed very clearly on the Sasquatch festival website...
