Quick geography lesson for those who don't know. The Diomede Islands are located in the Bering Sea between Alaska and Russia. One of the islands is owned by Russia, the other by Alaska. The islands are about two miles apart, so it is actually possible to see Russia from Alaska.

What Adam Snacks has done this year by making a broader lineup and attracting a whole new crowd is possibly catching a few of these "borderline" fans and turing them into lifelong fans.

I'm coming in way late so I'm going to respond to this post on page 2. I completely agree with what you're saying but why did he feel the need to do that? I liked the weird festival we had last year, you know, the one that sold out faster than any Sasquatch before it. I guess I was just hoping that Sasquatch would go more of the way of ATP festivals which have a small setting and are able to bring a bunch of weird musicians in because of their reputation, rather than going the safe route and booking a day that appeals to 17 year old girls. The 1-2-3 punch of Iron & Wine, Bright Eyes, and DCFC is just impossible for me to get excited about (and i kind of like all of those bands).
