Being drunk in the festival made Passion Pit that much more of a party and Pavement that much more tolerable.

Sorry if I came across as a bit harsh. I guess it really depends on how much progress you've made. If you're newly sober and not very confident about it, then if you go you're playing with fire. If you've been sober a while and/or are sufficiently strong willed then you'll have no problem. The guy that I referenced was the former. In fact, if you're the belt sander your biggest problem might actually be tolerating all the drunk/high fools stumbling around. I suppose if you've done much reading on this forum you probably know exactly what you're getting into. Either way, a support network is a really good idea. I'll be, um, busy with others things though...

Stay clear of the "party buses" in the campground if your trying to avoid substances. Some crazy activities take place in those areas and sobriety would be almost shunned upon.
