I was once a moderator for the most active forum on a site with many thousands of accounts.

but I don't want to do that again. My vote goes to either Friendly Destroyer or Peatrick. I think I8 needs to be free to do his thing.

Joining the discussion late I know, but c'mon Pea! You are hands down the best candidate for mod. You have brought this board a healthy dose of humor as well as some valuable veteran information with out becoming a complete ass in the process, but I understand if you don't want the responsibility. I also like the idea of Lumpy, but I'm afraid he would be too soft on people and would therefore be ineffective. I8 and HG on the other hand would NOT have this problem at all, but that brings other problems. I fear the board they become mods of. So where does that leave us...

I'd like to formally nominate emptyfox. He's been active on the board for a while, has been to plenty of 'Squatches, lives in the NW, and has a level head on his shoulders. Can you keep it up in the off season, Mr. Fox?
