I should also say that if you don't want to be a moderator, let everyone know. The criteria I created was more of me rounding up my own nines. 7 out of 10 works just fine. Attending Sasquatch annually and being on the board every day are much more important than living in the NW.

I honestly don't think I would do a good job of policing the threads. I used to frequent death metal forums after all, where NOTHING was off limits and I was forever desensitized.

I think I'd have the opposite of Peatrick's problem. I envision a utopian board in which everyone reads the god damn threads before they post, and everyone respects basic laws of spelling, grammar, and punctuation, except in cases of all-caps hilarity.

Also, I think a healthy portion of the current posters would abandon ship if I ever got a little authority around here.

I think the NW mixed with the fact I don't think I'll be able to make the festival this year count me out. (Thanx guyz for the nominations though <3 )

I am fully behind the idea of I8 as mod. I imagine he wouldn't ban people very often but he would strike the fear of god into them when he yells at them and it says mod next to his name
