Got sent to eastern BC for work for a couple weeks so a co-worker and I went on a day hike. Some seriously amazing views at this place and really cool rock formations as well.

The closest town to that place would be Invermere, but it's actually about 25km south of there. About an hour from Cranbrook.

No not quite. I do work for BC Hydro testing high voltage equipment. I go all over the province which can be pretty cool but it can also suck getting sent way up north in the middle of winter.
That hike didn't have anything to do with work, we just had a day off.
