I don't know what you're talking about. Is the 'The' in 'The Pixies' the colloquialism you are referring to? If it is, I think you need to go find an Oxford English and look up 'colloquialism'.

this will be my 4th straight year of sasquatch,
drive down from edmonton, alberta every year,
it always falls around my birthday so that's pretty rad (this year we arrive at the camp on my birthday, so i don't have to spend the whole day driving like last year),
and last year i camped right beside horned gramma, i recognize him from some pic thread on these boards,
