eh it's just a stupid phrase (bringing together mainstream indie) my friend came up with to describe bands like Foster the People, Imagine Dragons and fun. (post Aim and Ignite) that are labeled as "indie _____" when clearly they are getting pushed by a major label.

I also apologize for bastardizing the English language over something as important as said internet message board to try and convey a futile "it could be worse..." attitude.
