The lineup this year finally enticed me to buy tickets. And now I've been hanging around here trying to glean all of your knowledge having never been to a campout festival (damn you Treasure Island). Standing on the shoulders of giants and all that. Dr. Garbanzoured actually registering might be handy.

Welcome. Oh and I like your user name....very clever.

Campout festivals are easy if you just don't stress it too much. Bring the essentials like many layers of clothes, tent, food with lots of protein, lots of water, etc. Remember, you will be camping with thousands of awesome people so if you forget or run out of something you have many friends to help you out. Lots of people stress out too much about the rules and regulations and realize that when they get there the stress was all for not. Just have fun, be safe, be smart.

Zeds dead was pretty awesome except for all the greasy Portland kids that flock to edm at the roseland theater, and Petty was amazing too wish i was a little older when i was there to appreciate it more but still is one of my all time favorite concerts i have ever been to

Nah, he's right about that. Portland rave kids and concert attendees at the Roseland in general are filthy, undesirable people.

Thanks HG. So, the question then becomes what other stereotypes for concert goers are allowed? Because my wrist is still sore from the slap i received for my frat boy and hippie comment regarding the DMB crowd.

BTW they are frat boys and hippies...it is what it is.
