how can a band with only 1 album be your favorite? (that goes to everyone- i'm not just signaling out the person above me) I've never understood that??

Maybe because "favorite" means "favorite right now". I could easily have said Depeche Mode or Led Zeppelin or The Police because I will always love them and because they were hugely important to me at some point in my life, but that doesn't really have a lot of context in terms of the conversation at hand.

In other words, those are my favorite bands that are current. They are the ones that, if they played locally, I'd be there in an instant. However, going to Key Arena to see Depeche Mode a while back didn't excite me in the least.

Next year I will probably have new favorites.

It must have been 2003, and the show got moved from wherever it was to the Catwalk, which I have never been to since. I toasted pop tarts with a lighter outside. It made them taste like butane.
