Yeah, you did.

I've never been to Coachella either, but seriously? Fuck Coachella. Fuck million degree weather and watching bands in tents. Sasquatch is where it's at.

Its 7 degrees today. I think I may retract this statement later, but I'd give anything for 80 degree weather today.

I drove into Escondido while visiting San Diego last summer, and while it was hot I was happy that it was at least a dry heat. I'll never forget playing football at a family reunion one summer in Tennessee and literally being soaked from head to toe in sweat after about 20 minutes. Seriously, who the FUCK wants to live in that much humidity?

Last year was a fucking blessing from God. It stayed in the 80's all weekend. Never has that happened before in Coachellla's history. I think this year is going to be extra fuerte to make up for last year.

However, the tents are actually one of the only safe havens from the heat. It's the main stages that are brutal during the day.

Coachella is hot, yes. The dry heat does help though, and I didn't have much of a problem even though the temps were in the high 90's the whole weekend in '07. Woodstock in New York state was another story altogether. TOO MUGGY! I even found Sasquatch '09 a little tougher than Coachella.

At Coachella 2006, before they moved to earlier in April, it was 100+ every day. I peed about once the whole weekend.

If Sasquatch '09 is at all comparable to Coachella heat then I suppose I'll do alright. I can tolerate a sweaty back and a little chafing.

Dude, '09 was WICKED hot.

Useful tip: when you're scorching in 90+ degree heat on the edge of a cliff, DO NOT pour water on your head/face/self to cool you down. It's refreshing at first but it does in fact boil you like a lobster.

Actually we soaked these hotel towels that we stole in water and wrapped our heads in them. It was the most amazing idea ever. Kept you cool, and shaded... but you also looked like a retard with a towel on your head.

I always bring an extra tshirt and soak it in water and wrap it around my head like a turban. Lifesaver.

Amen. Amen. AMEN.

After being in South Carolina, the beauty of dry heat amazed me at the Gorge. Humidity in Charleston kills.

sasquatch 09 was brutal for me. I got sick on thursday before the festival and stayed sick all weekend. Trying to see a band play when you and sick and it is super hot out is so uncomfortable.
