That's odd. My guess would be its due to the adds that proboards put next to the videos and by hiding them with spoiler tags, we ate violating the EULA.

I think as long as the 'derp' is kept in the General Chat section it should be allowed to run rampant. Only when it starts creeping into/taking over 'General Board' or 'Lineup' threads should it be cause for concern.

This is just my opinion though.

I was saying we should get some sort of thing like the Tiny Chat application the Coachella Board has so that people can chat in there. I don't really think there is any problem with chatting back and forth from time to time but if we are anti-derp/anti-twitter feed, which even I agree, there should be limits and rules for then the rules need to apply to everyone.


EDIT: It does look like Proboards has a chat function.

Under everyone's avatar, there are three little buttons -- one for sending PMs, one for emails, and one for ignoring. The ignore button is the one that looks like a little smiley face. Just click on that and you should be good.
