What fucking language is that dude?
Like commas and apostrophes, people who don't know where an H belongs should not be allowed to use H's.

Yes, this has happened to me as well, Sasquatch 05. I'm not sure why the first people passing out the night before feel entitled to fuck with the person still sleeping the next morning. Needless to say, I was the only one still sleeping the next morning, so my friends took apart my tent on top of me. I have a similar photo.

One cool thing about Wild Horse is if you want to car camp beside friends who are showing up at a different time than you in a seperate car.The staff is friendly and if asked they will hold a spot beside your camp for friends showing up later. Each reservation is under a name so we told the person at the front gate who we were waiting for. We set up camp and relaxed and they brought them right to us! If that is a non factor, the gorge camp ground is the shite.

That is really nice of them, and something I could never see the Gorge camping staff doing.
That being said, some of my friends usually show up the night before the music starts and I usually roll in the morning of and I have never had problems driving to where they are. Granted we use flags to denote our site and cell phones to get us in the right vicinity, but it has always worked out.

I am not trying to sound snooty, particularly because this is only my second time going and I'm not as well versed in the campgrounds, but Wild Horse seems so out of the way from everything else. Is it truly worth it? Regular and premiere camping seem to offer more and be closer to the festival gates.
I know there are shuttles and hot showers advertised, but do they not have the same amenities in premiere?

Wild horse is just down the road from the venue. It is quieter than either of the campgrounds at Sas. Premiere promised a bunch of things that never happen. There was also just two showers for all those people there. Wildhorse has way more and the cafe is worth the cost by itself. Also, they have rv sites with electric. If you want to party all night, stay at the festival camping. If you want a calmer experience go Wildhorse.

While i maintain that the Wildhorse campground Is extremely boring you're about as cool as my dad if you stay there. It really is "just down the road" if you come from Seattle or even from the east and don't know the money exit to use you probably never see it. It is extremely close.

I remember driving into the Gorge and thinking Wild Horse was pretty far. I knew to be prepared to walk a ways from the campsite to the fest, but man, Wild Horse looks rough.
Additionally, a cafe? I'm sure this a great amenity for any other camping event, but during sasquatch, I'll be inside the festival for at least 12 hours. What good does a cafe do for me when I have plenty of food to try inside of the festival?
I know there are some people who want a quieter experience, which is totally fine and I'm happy to know that there is a place for those people. I'm just glad there's also a place to let go and have fun. However, as I mentioned in another thread, even the premiere camping was pretty quiet by 11pm.
Perhaps I need to see it to believe it--and I'm certainly not hating on the people who like Wild Horse--but it seems to me that besides the showers, which a lot of people don't utilize while camping anyway, and besides the apparently delicious snacks at the cafe, the seclusion of the site doesn't seem worth it.

Just took a look at Wild Horse on Google Earth, and the walking distance seems comparable to the very far outskirts of overflow camping at the Gorge. Probably a bit further, but definitely closer than I had previously thought. They do have a free shuttle, though.
That being said, they charge $30 per night per car of 4 people. If you're staying 4-5 nights you'll pay $120-$150 for accommodations there, and at that point you might as well buy premier camping at the gorge. I think the gorge camping folks may have thought this one through.
