That's true, and I still fully intend to. It just looks bad.

Terrace is the Premiere of Premiere, it sits at the back edge of Premiere closest to the festival, has tables and a bit better scenery. Plus it comes with that feeling of exclusivity.... which is nice, to some I 'spose.

"The Terraces are the newest and most exclusive addition to the Gorge Campground. Situated between Premier camping and the Gorge Amphitheatre, this area is the quietest of the camping areas. Lush grass fronts a gravel parking bay with breathtaking views across the Gorge. There are a restricted number of these roomy sites available so be sure to reserve your spot now.

Here you will get the largest space, free shower & restroom facilities separate from the general camping area, a free van service to the Amphitheatre that drops you right at the gate. 24 hour security, a dedicated concierge service, free fresh coffee and pastries in the morning to enjoy as you wake up to the best views in the campground (in our opinion). You will still have access to all the fun and facilities of the main campground. It'll be a quick and easy out from here once your stay is over and we'll hope to see you back again for the next amazing Gorge concert."

Woooooowwwwwww that is some heinous fucking Marketing Speak. I am going to spend half the weekend throwing ziploc bags full of urine at those people. "Most exclusive addition?" Get the fuck outta here, Gorge; it's a music festival, not a fucking central American resort.

premier camping used to be promised free coffee and pastries in the morning but they never delivered on that as long as I was there ('09 and '10). I bet people that pay for terrace camping would throw a hissy fit if they didn't get their free shit

Yeah premier camping was ruined in 09. It was like smaller normal camping basically. 08 it was fine, quite small, constant security, etc. It was supposed to be the campground you could sleep in. I had wound up sleeping in my car in 09 cause the assholes from Vancouver who could "see the pain"(coke) in the singer from Kings of Leon's eyes had to play "Sex on Fire" 10,000 times. When I told security: *shrug*. Bullshit. Wildhorse was a great choice this year.

Well, it seems since they wanted to play Sex on Fire all the time, the pain behind his eyes they could see was probably the pain resulting from the ghonnorea that that song is about.

Oh Kings of Leon fans. You worry me sometimes.

In '09, a bunch of drunk yahoos tore down the fence that divides regular camping from premiere in several places. A bunch of the security guards (also drunk yahoos) ended up walking off the job. Seriously though fuck KoL.

I'm actually on board with camping per person, it'll save money if you get in a situation like I was last year---six people in two cars, so we had to get a second camping pass and I ended up paying for half it with one other guy.

there's a good chance that i'm just going to drive myself out there this year and meet my friends in vantage before we all drive in. this way i'll be able to carry more camping equipment in my little car, so i'm definitely on board for individual camping passes! that said, sasquatch must have given up on their carpooling "green credit" bullshit for this year haha

That may be a decent way of getting more space as well...
