The arrival guide is missing an important tidbit. If you have a ticket for one day and carpool there on with people who have 4-day passes, do you get to camp all weekend? Do you have to carry that piece of paper with you the whole time to enter and exit the campsite? And what happens if you got scammed with a duplicate pass from some scammer? Selling fake passes for almost $500 bucks doesn't seem like much of a leap if you are already a scalper and if you take the advise of the people on this board and buy tix on craigslist YOU HAVE ZERO OPTIONS. at least stubhub gaurantees your tickets will be authentic

First questions:
Good question. Maybe they'll have staff checking for wrist bands on every person who attempts to enter the campground at night. Otherwise, have your friends drop you off near the first parking lot, meet them inside, and then walk to their tent at night. But we don't know because this is a new feature.
Second inquiries:
You are screwed.

It's true that this is the only actual way to keep illegitimate campers out of Gorge camping, but I just cannot see this happening. Not with the number of campers vs the number of staff they usually have. Not only would they have to check wristbands, but they'd also have to check the actual tickets of those who just have day passes. This would involve people actually holding on to their tickets, which I know I always plan to do (souvenirs) but it just does not always happen. If they enforced the rules they would be kicking out a lot of innocents, and that would just be awful.

At the very least this should work.

Oh yeah, and this is also true. I'd say, "that's why you don't buy from scalpers," but it sounds like it's too late for other options.

It seems to me like buying from people on craigslist at a (somewhat) fair price leaves you open to being fucked over by not getting a real ticket but buying tickets on stubhub just guarantees you will only be fucked over by the outrageous price! I'm starting to think that for the folks that missed buying tickets from the first group trying to screw them (livenation), they might be better off skipping the next two (craigslisters and stubhub scalpers) and hope for some friendly partied out Sasquatcher to sell them a pass if they can get into the camping sans-ticket in the first place!

In years past this has always been an option, and the people who have done this have probably saved a lot of money. However, this is a new year with new rules and regulations. I'm guessing that things will go down in a similar way to years past, but that's a pretty easy assumption for me to make. I have my tickets.

Don't worry souly, it isn't just you. It is most people on this board, and it is also me. I just think people should be informed. Buster seems to be interested in talking about it, and I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
I know this isn't always the case, but I do have some sympathy for people who could only manage a couple day tickets and then their rides end up with weekend passes.

I do too. I feel really bad for people who didn't get tickets. And that's that is very different than coming to the campground just to party and fuck with people's stuff.
