They definitely need to clear up the confusion with the new camping situation.

In terms of early bird tickets, it does appear that the only option will be the $285-$295 all inclusive tickets.

Probably means that if you want to stay at Wildhorse, then you're paying double camping. That sorta sucks.

If you compare this year's all-inclusive weekend package to last years festival-only weekend package, each person is only being charged an additional $10 per day. Yes, it kind of sucks for people who have plans to camp elsewhere, but The Gorge, Livenation, and Sasquatch aren't interested in making other campgrounds and hotels money. Plus, if about $10 a day extra is such an over-the-top expense for you then you really can't afford this festival anyway.

On that note, if you plan on camping at the Gorge anyway, then you are only being charged $1.25 extra per ticket. SIGN ME UP!

Thing is, it's PER PERSON. That pisses me off in a way. I plan on waiting for Feb. to buy my tickets to see if it changes.

Most other major festivals charge per person, it's just the fact that Sasquatch never has before that makes it seem so shocking. As many people have already, if you do the math it really ends up being nearly the same price per day for the festival+camping as last year. From what I've read it really seems like they aren't going to offer "festival only" passes, but feel free to wait it out. And yeah, I know that Friday isn't going to be a full line-up so maybe it shouldn't cost as much, but it's still going to have wicked bands and be well worth the price. They did the same thing in '06. If you have a problem with that, just wait and buy individual tickets for Sat-Mon. You'll only save a few bucks though. And you won't get a sweet festie wristband!

My only problem with this change to individual camping passes is that it no longer promotes carpooling, which for a festival that claims to be "carbon neutral" is a little bogus.

People shouldn't have to be told that carpooling out into the middle of nowhere is a good idea.

The other thing is, if you're planning to camp there anyway, why wait to buy? They aren't going to start selling individual camping passes and then release some by-car ones later.
